Welcome to the website of Terrace Valet Cleaners. The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Terrace Valet Cleaners, the owner and operator of this site. The term "you" refers to any individual using or accessing our services through this website.

By placing an order, you agree to the following terms of service.

Garment Care & Liability

At Terrace Valet Cleaners, we take pride in delivering exceptional care for your garments. However, despite our best efforts, occasional issues may arise. In the rare event that an item is lost or damaged, it may qualify for reimbursement under our Garment Protection Policy.

To submit a claim, please contact us within 24 hours of your order delivery and include:

Please note that we do not check care labels prior to laundering. As such, we cannot take responsibility for shrinkage, fading, dye transfer, or deterioration of delicate fabrics, as these are common risks associated with the cleaning process and are not covered under our protection plan.

Laundry & Dry Cleaning Services

Our service offerings include standard wash-dry-fold options, as well as dry cleaning and other specialized treatments, which are listed on our website. It is the customer's responsibility to choose the appropriate service for each item. If "dry clean only" items are submitted with standard laundry, we are not liable for resulting damage.

If you have garments that require special handling—such as gentle wash, hand wash, or air dry—they must be clearly labeled and separated by the customer prior to pickup.

We are not responsible for any valuables or personal belongings left in clothing, such as jewelry, cash, electronics, or other items. Customers are expected to thoroughly check all pockets and remove any accessories before handing over laundry. Damage caused by items left inside garments (e.g., ink pens, cosmetics, gum) is not our responsibility.

Garment Protection Policy

Our coverage includes:

  • Missing or damaged items
  • Compensation of up to 60% of the item's retail value (maximum $25 per item)
  • Claims submitted within 24 hours of delivery

What the policy does not cover:

  • Missing socks (we recommend putting these and other small items in a mesh bag. Ask us for one!)
  • Shrinkage or distortion
  • Color bleeding or fading
  • Wear and tear of fragile fabrics
  • Damage from foreign objects left in garments
  • Personal belongings left inside laundry
  • Normal aging of garments

If reimbursement is approved, it will be issued in the form of store credit for use on future services with Terrace Valet Cleaners. All reimbursement decisions are made at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed.

For wash & fold items, reimbursement (if applicable) will be limited to 10 times the weight of the damaged item multiplied by our current per-pound rate, excluding taxes and fees.

Stain removal is not guaranteed, though we will do our best to treat visible marks.

Due to their delicate structure, we cannot assume responsibility for the internal stuffing or components of comforters or bedding, particularly if affected by age, manufacturing flaws, or general wear. We will handle such items with care but cannot guarantee results.

Wash & Fold Service Terms

We process wash & fold laundry based on weight, not item count. If you would like specific items covered under our protection plan, an itemized list must be provided at the time of drop-off. This list should include the brand, type, color, and size of each item.

If no such list is provided, Terrace Valet Cleaners will not be responsible for any missing or damaged garments, and no compensation will be offered.

Customer Responsibility

By choosing to use our services, you acknowledge that laundry services inherently involve risk, including potential damage or loss. You agree to abide by all policies set forth by Terrace Valet Cleaners when submitting claims or requests for compensation.
